This organic jersey fabric in different shades of grey, is inspired by Finnish folklore, it features forest animals and plants intertwining in a lace-like fashion, concealing Mielikki.

Mielikki is the wife of the Forest King. You may not necessarily see her while wandering in the forest, but ancient Finns believed she resided there. Mielikki keeps the forest tidy and beautiful, also caring for sick animals. 

This fabric is pre-dyed,which means that the reverse side of the fabric is in the same shade as the front side. After pre-dyeing, the fabric then gets its pattern printed on it. The pre-dyed material stays beautiful, even with regular use, and retains its appearance for a longer time compared to fabric printed with the rotary printing technique on white jersey.
