Paapii's multicoloured organic cotton fabric, which consists of shades of blue, green, and purple. The pattern was designed for Paapii by Anniina Isokangas. The pattern, created with alcohol inks, is surprising, as the technique makes the result random.
The pattern has been printed on the fabric surface using large-scale printers. Digital printing technology allows for precise transfer of intricate details onto the fabric without the limitations of traditional printing plates or screens. The fabric surface has a photographic sharpness and can faithfully reproduce watercolor paintings or other artworks in a vibrant manner.
You can cut this fabric in two directions. This way, you save fabric, and there is less waste when cutting.
Crafted from 100% organic cotton, Paapii's percale cotton offers a crisp feel. Woven from thin yarn with increased density, it's highly resilient to wear and tear.
Made entirely of cotton, the crisp percale fabric is highly breathable and adept at wicking away moisture, owing to its natural properties. It doesn't stick to the skin; rather, it promotes air circulation, imparting the characteristic coolness associated with percale.
Percale cotton is suitable as an interior design fabric and a fabric for clothing. From this fabric, you can sew items such as a dress, shirts, cushion covers, curtains, or a tablecloth. The fabric is 140 cm in width.
Great tip! In Paapii's Pattern Book for Women, you'll find a pattern and instructions on how to sew the Aino dress in cotton.
