Paapii's dark grey coloured patterned sweatshirt knit. The inspiration for the pattern comes from the Hannunvaakuna or the Bear paw. The design is in black on dark grey coloured fabric. The pattern is the work of Anniina Isokangas.
"The Hannunvaakuna, or the Bear Paw, exudes history, and we wanted to create our own pattern for Paapii based on it. In that mystical symbol, there is said to be a hidden protective power that was once believed in ancient times. It is said that the symbol was used to ward off evil spirits and bad luck. As a result, the Hannunvaakuna can still be found today, for example, on the walls of old buildings."
This fabric can be cut in two directions. The material consumption for fabric cut in two directions is lower, resulting in less waste.
This fabric is dyed- through. This means that the fabric is the same colour on both sides. Dye-through fabric is durable, as the colour extends throughout the entire material, preventing the emergence of differently coloured fibers during use. The fabric retains its colour for a long time.
