This set includes 3 pieces of iron-on labels Siiri, Hilda and Bambi.
Method of application
The iron-on label allows you to apply it directly to the fabric, also by using a home iron. This method of linking the label with the fabric is resistant to washing at temperatures up to 40°C. We recommend applying a few stiches to ensure the label stays attached to the fabric!
Suggested parameters for the application process:
Use baking paper or pattern paper between the iron and the fabric.
Temperature: max. 170°C (•••)
Pressing time: 20 – 25 seconds
Pressure force: approx. 60 g/m2 (strong pressure with an iron)
The above parameters should be adapted to the properties of the fabric as well as the thickness of the applying label. Thicker labels (typically three or more colours) should be applied using time or temperature closer to the high end of the range. In some cases, the final result will be achieved faster if we stick the label upside down, i.e. press with the iron against the fabric placed at the back of the label.
The label can be reckoned as properly applied when the adhesive layer has completely dissolved by influence of temperature and has penetrated into both pressed layers.
The label obtains full resistance to washing or peeling from the fabric after 48 hours of application.
