The fabric is sold as grade B because the water penetration value varies when measured from different parts. The fabric is waterproof and otherwise fine in terms of pattern print quality, but due to the variation in the water penetration value, we do not recommend it for use in rainwear. The variation in the water penetration cannot be seen with the naked eye (the white backing is okay), it only appears in tests.
