Ella and her friends dress up in Paapii's cheerful patterns in the production of Ella ja kaverit - Paterock at Kouvolan Teatteri. The costumes for the performance, which premiered in April, are built around clothes made from Paapii's fabrics. The lively and imaginative costume design is the work of Tua Hautamäki.
"Paapii's magnificent and colorful patterns were perfect for bringing Ella and her friends' world to life. Like the work itself, Paapii's products seem to appeal to both children and adults. We have already received positive feedback on the costumes and specifically on Paapii's patterns, so we are extremely pleased with the outcome and the collaboration," says Topi Talasranta, Sales and Marketing Manager at Kouvolan Teatteri.
In the performance, the characters adventuring in Paapii's patterns include:
· Perch, light blue
· Happy robots, light pink
· Mopeds, sun
· Vintage cars green-orange
· Nuutti, forest
· Lynx, dark grey
· Parliament, grey
· Lingonberry, blueberry
"Kouvolan Teatteri contacted us with a collaboration proposal, and we gladly joined in! It immediately felt like this would be something particularly cool. The costume design for the performance is really successful and beautiful. I dare to guess that the actors will also enjoy their costumes. We are really excited and grateful to Kouvolan Teatteri for the great collaboration," rejoices Anna Nygård at Paapii Design.
