We want to share a sewing instruction and a pattern so that each of you can easily and effortlessly sew a beautiful, organic cotton Christmas hat for yourself and your loved ones. Whether you're planning to create a Christmas hat for adults, a baby, or a child, you can now sew it in no time at all!
At first, choose your favourite Paapii fabric from our colourful Christmas fabric collection. In this project, the fabric requirement is 50 cm.
Sewing instruction and a pattern for a Christmas hat
Parts: hat, headband
Cut out all the parts. Add 1 cm seam allowance. Fold the headband in half along the width with the right sides facing each other. Sew the short edges of the headband together. Fold the headband with the wrong sides facing each other. Sew the center back seam of the hat. Place the headband inside the hat with the right sides facing each other. Make sure the hat’s center back seam and the headband’s seam align. Sew using an overlock machine or a stretch stitch on a regular sewing machine, stretching the headband evenly all the way. Do not stretch the hat. Attach a pom-pom to the hat with a needle and thread if desired.
