As the caption proposes, the World’s sweetest Ice Cream Stand is now located in Kokkola. Although our opinion might be a bit partial here at PaaPii headquarter. ;)
“We wanted to work freely without committing to a certain ice cream manufacturer, so we started to consider getting our own ice cream stand” says the ice cream stand keeper Tomi Kopaly. The stand obviously needed a wrapping and Tomi’s mother Maarit started working on it. Her friend got the idea to contact PaaPii.
At PaaPii we were immediately thrilled about the idea. The collaboration resulted in a delicious pastel-coloured ice cream stand. “We are happy about the outcome and a great cooperation”, says Maarit thankfully.
“Maarit gave us free hands with the design. During our meeting she mentioned a cat a couple of times and that is where the idea came from. I think that the Hide and seek -print design works in a fun way. I’m sure the cats, resting in the shade of the green leaves, likes cream and of course also ice cream. Who wouldn’t?” says PaaPii’s founder and designer Anniina Isokangas.
The Ice Cream Cat’s Ice Cream Stand can be found in Kokkola city center, in the Chydenius park. The menu will expand later, but you can already get delicious Carte D’Orin ice creams from the stand. You can also find for example PaaPii’s lemonade and other sodas on the menu. A coffee machine is also on its way, says Maarit with a smile.
